Zachary Binroth
I grew up in Jackson, Michigan and earned my BFA in Animation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After a brief stint of freelancing as a concept artist, I went on to work as a background artist at Branching Animation in West Hollywood, CA.
My artistic direction - whatever the project - is to concisely illustrate outside-the-box ideas with visuals. From the smallest startups to the largest studios - everyone has a story to tell. And every story needs a world to give it a shape and brand, and my passion for visual development, color design, and typography is what drives me as a creative practitioner. For me, the concept of building worlds isn’t just for fantasy and fiction, it is a vital tool for everyone, no matter how professional the setting.
